Research Associate

Full Time Research Associate Position

Job Description:

The Center for Applied Health Sciences (CAHS) is looking for a team-oriented Research Associate to perform basic physiological and biochemical measurements in our interdisciplinary clinical research facility. The Research Associate will assist in the design, planning, and execution of a variety of projects in the sports nutrition, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries.

Requirements:

The successful applicant will have a PhD in Exercise Physiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences or a closely related field. A minimum of four years of laboratory research experience is desired (can be academic lab experience). Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. Strong computer skills and interest in proteomics, transcriptomics, and molecular biology is a plus. Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association preferred.
