Laboratory of Plant Genetics - Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) - SP- Brasil
A postdoctoral position is immediately available in Michel Vincentz´s lab located at the Center of Molecular Biology and Genetic engineering (CBMEG) in the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (Lab. Of Plant Genetics : http://www.cbmeg.unicamp.br/node/26).
We seek a motivated candidate with a Ph.D. in plant molecular genetics / molecular biology. Experience in gene expression analysis, molecular biology techniques, Arabidopsis transformation, genomic analysis and computer skills are highly desirable. The applicant will integrate a group interested in understanding the interaction between energy-related signaling pathway and the circadian clock.
More precisely, the candidate will work in a project aiming to elucidate molecular mechanisms underlying the interplay between AtbZIP63 transcripton factor and the circadian clock to manage carbon resources necessary for growth and development (ref: Frank et al., 2018, doi: 10.1016/j.cub.2018.05.092). The candidate will have to participate in the lab routine (supplies acquisition, organization, lab meetings), help with grant writing and manuscripts preparations, present the results of his project in Scientific Meetings.
