<span style="mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"" lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"" lang="EN-US">We invite applications for PhD. or MD-PhD. student positions for basic and translational research-oriented projects related to DNA damage response and receptor tyrosine kinases signaling in cancer. </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif" lang="EN-US">Cellular and molecular biology-based assays, (single-cell) omic techniques and animal models will be used for these investigations. For particular projects, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma as a tumor entity lies in the center of our interest.</span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif" lang="EN-US"><br />

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"" lang="EN-US">Applicants should hold a Swiss or an equivalent Diploma/MSc degree in medicine, molecular biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences or pharmacology. Applicants must have the academic credentials for registration to the Graduate School of the University of Bern (www.gcb.unibe.ch). We are searching for highly self-motivated, independent and committed candidates who would like to embark further on a scientific career. Previous laboratory experience in updated methods of molecular and cellular biology </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;
