The Department of Biological Sciences in the UIC College of Liberal Arts & Sciences seeks applications for two Postdocs in Teaching and Research starting Fall 2019. The post-doctoral position is structured such that the selected candidates will contribute 50% effort toward teaching and mentoring, and 50% effort toward research with a faculty member from the Department of Biological Sciences or Laboratory of Integrated Neuroscience (http://bios.uic.edu or http://lin.uic.edu). We are seeking two postdocs to teach undergraduate courses in neuroscience that may include behavioral neuroscience, cellular neurobiology, biology of the brain, or neurophysiology. The position provides a new PhD with an exceptional opportunity to gain teaching and research experience under the mentorship of neuroscience faculty, in preparation for a tenure-track job, especially at an institution that values teaching.
The successful candidates must earn their PhD before August 1, 2019 in Biology, Neuroscience, or related field
