The School of Environment and Safety Engineering at Jiangsu University P.R. China. is seeking a multi-disciplinary post-doctoral scientist with experience in wastewater, Enviromental microbiology, and//or Microbial Fuel Cell to work on research projects related to water-food-energy-environment nexus at watershed and regional scales. As part of a multi-disciplinary team of water scientists and engineers, the selected candidate is expected to participate in the development of an novel low-energy passive aeration SND wastewater treatment systems and apply it to real wastewater treatment. This is a two-year position (annual salary as 150,000 RMB with performance bonus 50,000 RMB). The position is immediately available and with a flexible start date before 2019/06/01
Minimum Qualifications • Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology;
Preferred Qualifications • Research experience in biological wastewater treatment; • Experience with Anammox is a major plus; • Experience conducting original research and publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals;
