This position requires a Ph.D. in Immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related field and at least 8 years of laboratory experience. The individual will lead a group of scientists to develop, validate and implement immunoassay or cell-based assays to evaluate antidrug antibodies against protein drugs in biological samples to support regulatory filings. The person will be responsible for guiding assay development efforts and establishing deliverables for each drug program, and communicating program objectives to project team. The person will also be responsible for writing validation protocols, reports, SOPs and sections in regulatory filing documents for INDs and BLAs. The ability to effectively interact with colleagues in a team environment, and ability to independently plan, supervise and direct projects to completion are essential. Experience of developing and validating ELISA assays or cell based assay in a GLP environment is required.
