Staff Scientist/Senior Staff Scientist - Velocigene Designer

Job Description:

Seeking a highly motivated PhD to lead a small group tasked with designing simple and complex knockouts, knock-ins and humanizations working within Regeneron's cutting edge VelociGene group.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience designing and implementing gene-targeting strategies, preferably using BAC-based methods, although additional biological experience is welcomed. Experience with complex knock-ins or other engineered animal models is a major plus. Must have a demonstrable understanding of the entire process of targeted modification of ES cells. Strong leadership and communication skills are required as is the ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment.
