Research Assistant(s) / Junior Research Assistant(s) Description
Applicants should (i) have a Bachelor's degree or above in Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline; (ii) have at least two years' research experience, preferably in musculoskeletal biology and tissue engineering, biomaterial development, and material fabrication techniques; (iii) be willing to learn new things, self-motivated, well organised, cooperative and responsible; (iv) be able to work independently; and (v) have good communication skills in Chinese and English. Duties include working under the Institute's Director and his management team to provide assistance in the daily operation of the Laboratory. These duties include but are not limited to a) performing musculoskeletal research under the guidance of an appointed supervisor; (b) ordering and maintenance of Laboratory equipment and supplies; (c) assisting Laboratory personnel with learning new technical skills; and (d) any other duties as assigned by the supervisor as appropriate. Training in musculoskeletal research as well as biomaterial development and testing will be provided to complement skillsets as necessary. Candidates can also expect to receive mentoring and training that aid them in achieving towards their career goals and aspirations.
