It is available, at the Laboratory of Citogenomics – HCFMUSP, a postdoctoral fellowship to participate in a subproject of the Thematic Project titled "HUMAN TIMO: DEVELOPMENT AND DISEASES", sponsored by FAPESP. The subproject is entitled "Investigation of the cytogenetic profile in 22q11.2 deletion: CNVs X gene expression and immunophenotypic variability". Its main objectives are to build a cytogenomic profile by the analysis of the SNPs of the whole genome and its gene expression in patients with 22q11.2 deletion with variable immunophenotype and to evaluate the genotype-phenotype correlation for these patients.
1) PhD in Sciences, Genetics or Molecular Biology, acquired after 2012.
2) Experience in molecular biology techniques, among them: RNA and DNA extraction, bead-array and analysis of gene expression.
Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in molecular biology in humans. It is desirable experience under analysis by GenomeStudio and R.
3) Exclusive dedication to the project activities.
Interested candidates should contact the Cytogenetic Laboratory via e-mail lesliekulikgmail.com, attaching a cover letter justifying their interest in the project; an updated curriculum vitae including list of publications; a copy of the diploma of doctorate and a telephone number and an email adress for contact.
