Post-Doctoral Positions in Neuroscience

Two post-doctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Hui Zhang. The research focuses on elucidation of mechanisms underlying Parkinsonās disease and schizophrenia at the molecular, cellular and circuit level. The lab is equipped with cutting-edge equipment including one two-photon microscope.

Motivated applicants with a recent Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related field are encouraged to apply. Position A: experience in slice electrophysiology (patch clamp preferred), two-photon imaging, and/or optogenetics; Position B: experience in vesicle trafficking, mitochondria and mouse models. Candidates should also have at least one first author paper published or accepted in a peer-reviewed journal. The successful candidates will be responsible for independent design and execution of experiments as well as data analysis, interpretation and communication of results.
