Process Development Associate/Engineer I or II

We are seeking a Process Development Engineer to work in the Purification area of the Pre-Clinical Manufacturing and Process Development Group. This person will be involved in the development of protein purification steps, scale-up from bench to pilot scale, and process transfer to Regeneron's Manufacturing Division. Additional responsibilities include purification of development and non-development candidate molecules to support reagent needs for Regeneron's basic research groups, development and implementation of analytical assays to characterize in-process and purified material, and assisting with the small-scale validation of key process steps for viral clearance.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in biochemistry and 0 - 5 years experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge and experience with bioseparations processes is preferred.
